William and I are out in California visiting my family. My sister Jane is leaving to serve a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in two weeks so I am glad I get to spend this time with her.
We've been having lots of fun and William is playing long and hard every day. I sure miss Tyson though. I wish he could have come with us. I am grateful that he has a full-time job during the summer and I am grateful he works hard.
I will post some pictures here later. I have been putting some on Facebook but not all of them, yet.
LA Zoo, Indian lunch buffet, and Kidspace (in Pasadena) are all on the docket today. My brother flies in from Utah tonight as well. I think we might go see "Now You See Me" tonight. I think that's what it is called... My mom says that she really likes it so we are going to see it.
Crafting, the beach, and "Monster University" at the El Capitan Theater in Hollywood tomorrow.
LA temple, the Getty museum, and HOPEFULLY Mormon night at Dodger Stadium on Friday.

Packing
William and I are flying to California on Saturday morning. I should be packing but instead I'm watching "Calamity Jane" 'cause it's an awesome movie and I hate packing.

Lots for a Little
A few months ago I cleaned out some of my books that I knew I would never read. I remembered that a used bookstore in Orem, Pioneer Book, does store credit for books. I took them in and got a TON of store credit. I couldn't use it that day because William needed a nap. I went back three weeks ago and got the following:
Each of those Agatha Christie books were supposed to be $3 each. But I only ended up paying $2.18 for all of these books! Not bad, huh?
Agatha Christie's Cat Among the Pigeons, Evil Under the Sun, Halloween Party, Peril at End House, and Passenger to Frankfurt; Elizabeth Gilbert's Eat, Pray, Love; and a 1918 book of classical piano music.

Thanksgiving Point Tulip Festival
My mom made a quick visit to Utah about a month ago so we went to the Tulip Festival at Thanksgiving Point. I had wanted to go to this festival since I moved to Utah because tulips are my favorite flower. Here are some of my favorite pictures from our visit. WARNING: lots of floral photographs coming up.
